 Their religion was important part of daily life in the ancient Egypt. The egyptians believed that their gods and goddesses controlled the working of nature. They built to honor their gods, and offered them food, gifts, and prayers.

 Egyptians believed in many gods and goddesses that they took part in creation, some brought the flood every year, some offered protection, and some took care of people after they died. Others were either local gods who represented towns, or minor gods who represented plants or animals.

 Egyptians towns had their own gods and goddesses with own temples. Also egyptians worshiped certain principal gods, such as the sun god, Re and the falcon god, Horus.

HORUS  He was the god of the sky, and son of Osiris, the creator  Horus became depicted as a falcon, or as a falcon-headed leading to Horus name (in Egyptian is Heru) which mean The distance one.

Osiris  Was the god of the living or the dead.  Osiris' murderer, his brother Set, usurps his throne. Meanwhile, Osiris' wife Isis restores her husband's body, allowing him to posthumously conceive a son with her.SetIsis
