3. How many languages are used as the working languages of the United Nations? There are five. They are Chinese, French, Russian, English and Spanish.

Why can’t he find it? bathroom = toilet (A.E.) (B.E.) the place where you take a bath.

Because the meaning of “bathroom” is different in Br.E and Am.E. BE: A room there is a bath. AE: A room with a toilet.

5. at all ( 否 )“ 一点也不 ” ( 疑 )“ 到底, 究竟 ” (if 条件句中 )“ 既然, 即使 ” e.g. I’m not tired at all. Have you done your homework at all? If you do it at all, do your best. Language points
