Presentation transcript:

Catalyzing Social Impact Goizueta MBA students gain valuable experience developing creative solutions to the complex challenges currently faced by individuals and organizations striving for meaningful social impacts. Client partners specify a project and are promised a minimum of 400 pro- bono “billable hours”. Projects launch on first day of the spring semester and findings and recommendations are presented to a audience of key stakeholders and interested individuals on the last days of the semester. Engagements begin with and are guided by a clear understanding of the commitment we are making to our clients. In this respect, projects have regular deliverables. Our clients benefit from the insights and recommendations that emanate from our students’ accumulated business acumen.

Grameen Bank – the global micro lending program that began in Bangladesh – operates in the U.S. as Grameen America. They are based in New York and currently operate six branches in three U.S. cities.

Our Project Grameen America is currently exploring the possibility of expanding operations into Atlanta. They approached Goizueta Business School and requested a market analysis that will help them understand the Atlanta market and determine where to establish their first Atlanta branch. Our Precedents: – “Grameen America: Micro-credit for low-income communities in the San Francisco Bay Area” (Columbia University) – “Grameen America – Indianapolis Market Research” (Kelley School of Business, Indiana University) We are looking for three more team members with – solid quantitative skills; and/or – solid marketing research skills

Interested? If you are interested, send a one-page expression of interest (including a clear statement of what you would bring to the team) along with a resume to Ellen Williams of Peter Roberts (both on First Class) ASAP.
