6 Drought Update Even in this dry year, Hetch Hetchy reached 95% of capacity. Water Bank has worked well for the last 3 years, and will work next year, but with limitations. Conservation is still strong. System-wide annual demand hasn’t been this low since San Francisco continues to monitor State Water Board actions regarding curtailments and take appropriate action regarding water rights.
7 BAWSCA Agencies Reduced Use by 31% in May 2015 Reductions compared to May 2013 for those agencies that report to the State Board Official tracking of progress toward State Board mandated reduction targets begins with June water use o Targets must be met from June 2015 to February 2016 BAWSCA agencies must achieve overall reduction of 15% compared to June 2013 to February 2014 Most savings anticipated to be achieved during the summer months
