Maryland Cancer Coalition Purpose The coalition could serve as a support intermediary for the implementation of the Maryland Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan with the purpose of decreasing cancer morbidity and mortality rates through adaptation of the goals, objectives and strategies outlined in the MCCCP. The MCC will hope to be a vehicle through which the goals and objectives of the MCCCP can be shared and implemented.
