This is because the world is becoming hotter and drier. Pluvia Loriente

Question: 1 Two cold snowy and icy places. Arctic and Antarctic.

Question: 2 They lie around the North and South Poles.

Question: 3 A thick layer of ice which changes its size growing large in winter and shorter in summer.

Question: 4 Penguins and seals in areas of Antarctica and polar bears in the Arctic.

Question: 5 Tundra and taiga on the fringes of the Arctic. Nothing grows in the Antarctic. Taiga

Question: 6 Native people live near the North Pole: The Inuits and the Sami. Igloo
