United Nations Statistics Division What is CensusInfo? CCensusInfo is a database system specifically designed for disseminating census data on the web and CD-ROM DDeveloped by UNSD in partnership with UNICEF and UNFPA BBased on DevInfo technology platform OOfficially launched in February 2009 at the 40 th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission
United Nations Statistics Division Census data dissemination is one of three main goals of the 2010 World Programme on Population and Housing Census as approved by the UN Statistical Commission at its 36 th session (March 2005) Initiative UNSD tasked with assisting countries in their efforts to disseminate census results effectively and timely Dissemination has been the weakest phase in population and housing census operations
