Enter Technology…  E-Learning – means different things to different people.  Online, Virtual, Distributed, etc.  Basically uses ICT  Can be online, offline or hybrid  Is it EPO ?  Difference in time and space where service is created and consumed.

Some advantages  Flexibility – Time, Space and Pace.  Reach.  Cost.  More suited to handle growing volumes of Information.  Facilitates Research.  Content can be easily updated.

Some Challenges  Assessment & Evaluation - test of learning process / Feedback  Change in role of teacher – mentor & guide. Not just teaching but teaching how to learn  Plagiarism – copy & paste  Access to technology
