Our problem: During 2 years we studied English, but we at all can not learn it. Maybe it from our relations? We decided found the matter of this problem. And found the origin of English

What has occurred English? Practically all languages to contemporaneity have its initial language, from which they have occurred. This is an initial language with all his(its) derived forms "family of" languages. English belongs to in indoeuropien to group of the languages. To she also pertains French, Italian, German, Norwegian and Greek. In indoeuropien to group exist the different subgroups, and English belongs to west-teutonic subgroup. Actually, English takes its begin in medium of the fifth age, when Celtic tribes were enthralled stranger because of North epidemic deaths, achieved whole territory to modern Great Britain. As a matter of convenience history of English is divided for three main periods: old English (Anglo-Saxon) ; middle English ; the modern English - since 1500 to date. Originally in England spoke on-Celtic. However after the Anglo- Saxon conquest island in modern English remained quite little Celtic words. The Anglo-Saxons spoke on different idiom. Later after invasion Norseman, elements of the Scandinavian language appeared in language. This language, pertaining to German language, has also influenced on English. In 1066 Wilhelm Conqueror has declared the Norman French language by language of its courtyard. In the beginning, "Norman" language spread amongst most rich of the layers of the population. Gradually, this language has got more broad spreading, and appeared the new language, differed from the Anglo-Saxon. This language and was a base of modern English.

English in our class! We decided to ask our students, what English for them?! And give them such answers: For future profession For communication with foreigners For reading newspapers and magazines For using internet For being all-round intelligent For nothing Then we have asked about level of the knowledge of English. And give them such answers: I do not know Know several words Know several expressions Read, translate with dictionary Read, can retell Easy communicate on foreign language And we have got such results:

English for my parents! Then we ask our parents about their knowledge in foreign language. More of them studied German and French. But there are one who studied Romanian, two who studied Spanish, and the last studied polish. 13 parents study any language. And only 18,5 % studied English. It is very pity, that they do not use English in speaking.

Conclusion: From our questionnaire we found that most of us study English for being more intelligent. The second place take answer “for nothing”. Our teacher spends more time for ruffians. That is why we become knew less. Parents can't help us, because they didn’t know English. We discovered that everything is in our hands.
