Case Study SummaryChallenges Aecom is a global provider of architecture, design, engineering, and construction services for public and private clients. Its German office had made a large number of German-language documents available to their U.S. law firms for purposes of pretrial discovery. Documents required notarization and legalization so that they could be used abroad. Very short timeframe and highly technical documentation. The law firms wanted to have the documents translated and certified within a 6-week time frame.

Solutions Documents were translated by US native and certified linguists with a legal background and checked by lawyers, according to international quality standards. All translations that required notarization were performed by certified North American translators for use in the US courts. Link Translation organized a portal in which the German documents and then the English translations would be deposited to connect translators, proofreaders and lawyers, providing faster response and delivery times and approval of each document, before shipping the hard copies.
