Campus Information Services (CIS) What information can you find out by using CIS

uNID University ID Part of the class registration process creates your uNID. This ID will follow you throughout your University of Utah academic career. This ID will create a university , any official correspondence from the University typically goes to this . You will need this ID to access many programs in the university system.

How do I log into CIS Go the University of Utah website, lower right hand corner. Click on the red button CIS.

Use your UID and two digit birthday 01/01/01 as your password. The first time you log in you will be prompted to change your password.

Academic Holds When your final GPA falls below 2.0 for the semester, you will have a academic hold placed on your record, which will not allow you to register for classes in the next semester. This hold will only be removed by an Academic Advisor from the University of Utah. The Academic Advising meeting will determine if you can continue on with UofU/AMES classes.
