Some facts on Bullying Harassment, teasing, ridicule, and emotional or physical violence can lead to depression and low self-esteem ; Three out of four students have reported being bullied; 90% of students felt being bullied caused social, emotional, or academic problems; Each year 1 out of 13 people under the age of 19 attempt suicide, a rate which has tripled in the last 20 years; Each month over 250,000 students report being physically attacked.
What can the schools do? Anti-Bullying Policy; Welfare + Anti-Bullying; Better supervision; Establish a positive environment on schools.
