Grab Bag – Process Art In this assignment, students selected a grab bag that had some art supplies in it. They had to use everything in the bag to create an artwork, but could add any extra supplies needed during the process. The subject of the artwork was completely open (of course we still adhere to school appropriateness).

Art Therapy Fridays! This will include one to two day workshop art, which will take place while other projects are on going. It will include mini art projects & journal reflections (reading/writing) Example on following slide.

Art Workshop Example Each artist was asked to share a “life lesson:”; something they have learned that has made them stronger, kept them going or given them balance in their lives. They were asked to share their insight, words of wisdom, and even humor via a unique art postcard. In response AWBW received specially created works from artists across the U.S.A. as well as Canada, Japan, and Budapest! Adopted – A Window Between Worlds

Student Invite!!! As part of our “Art therapy Fridays” I will be inviting (nice way to say require) all of you to plan and run a one day art workshop with the class. (partners) More to come on this!

Lets discuss your media interests!
