THE WRITING CENTER Provides individualized assistance to students during all stages of the writing process Stresses revision and reader feedback Develops students’ proofreading and editing skills Furnishes handouts on various aspects of writing and grammar, including formatting and style guides (APA, MLA, Turabian, etc.)

THE MATH RESOURCE AREA Welcomes students on a walk-in basis Provides tutoring for developmental and credit bearing math and stats courses Instructs individuals and small groups Provides handouts, videos, and computer aided assistance

TUTORING Centralized tutoring under the umbrella of Instructional Services in a variety of subjects i.e. business and science classes

SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION provides academic support for students in historically difficult courses.

SI participation is voluntary Peer tutors lead group study sessions SI students’ grades generally exceed the class average Examples of targeted classes are Chemistry, Calculus, Business Statistics, and Anatomy and Physiology
