Tallinn University of Technology The Chair of Electronic Measurement Staff ( 12 persons ): Prof. Mart Min 1 assistant professor, 1 laboratory engineer, 5 research engineers, and 4 PhD students. Laboratories and R&D: The Chair has a teaching laboratory and a research laboratory. Both, the teaching and research activities cover topics and projects, which are related to electronic measurement systems, signal processing and biomedical electronics. For several inventions patents have been granted, and some new patent applications have been made recently (USA, EU). Most of the staff is involved in biomedical research. The main research partners have been : Ragnar Granit Institute (Finland), St. Jude Medical AB (USA-Sweden), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), The University of Tartu (Estonia). 2

Tallinn University of Technology The Chair of Electronic Measurement Educational Activities in the Internet Distributed system of temperature measurement has been working for nearly 10 years: URL: Laboratory works over the Internet have been in use for several years in two main study subjects for bachelor and master degree students: - Data Acquisition - Electronic Systems Both subjects were tought also to a small group of international master degree students during the last year. Notes: Study subject Biomedical Electronics, and some other related subjects are tought only to the master degree and PhD students.
