 Size-As big as a short adult  Height- males 5.6’ upright, females 3.6’ upright Weight –males lbs  Color-black or brown-gray  Type of skin-red head black skin with fur  Arm span up to 9.2’

 They’re food includes a variety of plants along with a few insects and worms.  They eat fruit, leaves and shoots all day along with insects  They also eat ants and termites

 Number of babies- one baby every 3 to 4 years  How care for- they carry their baby around with them  Protection- they stand and pound on their chest
