S.3 Reading Programme The programme was held between 23 rd March and 25 th May, students completed the programme. Each student received a copy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory donated by Linklaters. The students read the book and wrote a 400-word book report to Linklaters mentors.

S.3 Reading Programme An introductory session (23/3) and a presentation skills workshop (18/5) were given by Linklaters mentors. 8 meetings were held among two teachers and the students in between the two sessions. The Speaking Competition: “ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Why I liked the book/movie better? ” was held on 25 th May, Prizes: Best Book Report, Best Presenter, Best Answer, Best Team

S.3 Reading Programme Each participant was given a $100-book voucher. Prize winners were given a certificate and a book.

Donation: $4000 Charlie & the Chocolate Factory: $ VCD: $58 Presents (books): $244.8 Presents (books): $326.4 Book vouchers: $1500 Total: $3467

Evaluation Students achieved some breakthroughs - reading a thick English book, writing a long book report, giving a long presentation, communicating with lawyers... More frequent & immediate feedback from the mentors is preferred.
