 Roughly 70 percent of an adult’s body is made up of water  The total amount of water on the earth is about 326 million cubic miles of water.  Almost 4 million people die each year from water related diseases.

 The average toilet uses 8 litres of clean water in a single flush.  At least 320 million people in China do not have access to clean drinking water.  15 million children under the age of five die each year because of diseases caused by drinking water.

 The average total home water use for each person in the U.S. is about 50 gallons a day  1 liter of used oil pollutes one million liters of fresh water  American use 5.7 billion gallons per day from toilet flushes.
