SM&L TVET implementation School Management & Leadership (SM&L) is implemented in TVET by: National level: Workforce Development Authority ( WDA ) and Provincial level: Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre ( IPRC ) in the Southern Province 17 pilots schools In collaboration with Belgian TVET Common Program (APEFE, BTC and VVOB).

TVET SM&L & CBT experimentation In the framework of the experimentation of the new Competence Based Training TVET program; A key component to increase quality in this implementation and to ensure accreditation of schools

TVET SM&L Scheme of intervention ( ) WDA School Management and Training Unit IPRC/SIPRC/KicuIPRC/NIPRC/EIPRC/W 11 VTC/TSS pilot schools (PAFP) Pilot schools are being reinforced to become resource centres 6 SDP VTC/TSS Pilot schools

Other achieved results in pilot schools We have also achieved these outcomes: 1.Setting up & capacity building of Management Committee 2.Elaboration & implementation of school development and strategic plan ; 3.Definition & implementation of staff capacity development plan ; 4.Development of school budget planning (+software) ; 5.Development of income generating projects (i.e. production and training units)
