Post Secondary Scholarship $5,000 Two (2) high school senior recipients 15 March deadline for Clubs to submit nominee to District Scholarship Committee Chair DISTRICT 7620 SCHOLARSHIPS

 Club must make a donation to the Annual Program Fund (APF)  Club must make a donation to the Polio Plus Program  The Club President along with the Immediate Past President or President-Elect or a Member of the Club must be MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding) trained, read, sign, and submit the Club MOU to the DRFC (District Rotary Foundation Chair) and agree to follow its requirements. Note that the Club MOU is a binding agreement between the Club and the District.

POST SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIPS  Late November 2014 thru Mid February 2015: Individual Clubs promote scholarships to local high schools and/or colleges  February 15, 2015 thru March 14, 2015: Rotary Clubs review applicants and interview candidates. Each Club can submit one (1) candidate to the District  March 15, 2015: Deadline for individual Clubs to meet Rotary eligibility requirements and to submit a letter of sponsorship and completed application packet to Neil Fay, District Scholarship Committee Chair.  Incomplete scholarship packets will not be considered for further review.

POST SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIPS  March 15, 2015 thru April 14, 2015: Club Scholarship nominees will be contacted by the District Scholarship Committee and invited to interview as finalists  Between April 15 and April 30, 2015: District Scholarship Committee will interview Club finalists and select winners  May 15, 2015: Scholarship recipients to be notified of their scholarship by the District Scholarship Committee Chair  October 2015: Scholarship funds will be sent to academic institutions where recipients are enrolled

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PACKET  Completed application form ( > Scholarships)  Essay explaining educational objectives  Resume/summary of extracurricular activities  Official high school and pre-college transcripts  Copy of any test scores (ACT, SAT, TOEFL)  Copies of any college acceptance letters  Letter of sponsorship from your club
