Goal of this Project Students will learn using primary sources about the town in which they live and the man that it was named after. There is a lawsuit over the body of Jim Thorpe. You will have to take a stand on that issue.

After everyone is finished, groups that analyzed video 1 will meet and groups that analyzed video 2 will meet to discuss their results. Final Project Paper After all of this research on Jim Thorpe the man and the town, you must now each write a 5 paragraph essay persuading someone of the following: The town of Jim Thorpe should give the body back to Jim Thorpe’s son. Or The town of Jim Thorpe should NOT give the body back to Jim Thorpe’s son. (You MUST follow the rules for a persuading essay!)
