Presentation transcript:

We invite YOU to work through these slides. You will create your own Image of Health. Something that is uniquely you. When you join Awakening to Health we will work with you to make and keep your Image of Health a reality.

Bring an idea of YOU doing what you like to do doing what is important to you into your mind... (You might want to close your eyes... or not) See yourself clearly. Where are you? Who’s there with you?

Notice how you feel... and make your image as specific as possible. This is your image of what is important to you. Hold the image in your mind.

Notice your feelings when you imagine what is important to you. Imagine something that can represent your feelings. What could you put on paper to be a symbol and remind you of those powerful feelings?

This symbol - Your Image of Health might be stick figures, a color, a word, a song anything that captures your feelings. Print out the blank Imagine bubble page on the next slide, put your Image of Health on it and post it where it will remind you of Your Image of Health.

Now we’ll talk about “shoulds” All of us have a “should” list “exercise more” “eat more veggies” “lose 5 pounds” What’s on your “should” list? Notice how you feel when you think of a “should” Now recall how you feel about your...

... Image of Health! It might be a little more positive, lighter, fun, happy! We invite you to use your Image to help you make healthy choices! We’re here to help you do that!

CONGRATULATIONS! You have just taken a step toward Awakening to Health!
