Steps for a friendly refusal Use the word “no” in your refusal Emphasize your refusal by repeating the refusal and using body language. Give reasons for refusing or list possible consequences. Suggest an alternative that includes your friend. Change the subject or walk away.

 You will be assigned a partner to work with!  Directions- Person 1 is trying to pressure person 2 into doing something that he/she does not want to do. Please use the five steps for a friendly refusal to create a refusal skill skit!
