 The world need for water and how it is in short supply  Water scarcity is the lack of enough water or lack of access to safe water. What is it?

 Agriculture  Growing world population  Political problems- civil and military disputes  Economic differences Water demands

Issues it causes U.S.  At least 36 states are expected to face water shortages in the next 5 years  Price for ensuring a reliable water supply could be staggering Globally  Nearly 1 billion people don’t have access to clean and safe water  Diseases
