What is a Science Fair Experiment? What is not? A science fair project consists of a testable experiment that answers yes or no to a hypothesis. Please refer to PPT on under files first one called PPT on Scientific Method It is not making a model – solar system, volcano, airplane, etc. It is not a demonstration.
Figure out Independent and Dependent Variable Once you know what you want to TEST (independent variable) and what you expect to be the OUTCOME (Dependent variable), you pretty much have what needs to be done. Come up with your own experimental design, DON’T REPLICATE – That means copy another experiment. Make it yours! Follow steps in PPT Scientific Method at schoolrack.com/carbajaLL
