Namibia land of the brave Freedom's fight we have won Glory to their bravery Whose blood waters our freedom We give our love and loyalty Together in unity Contrasting beautiful Namibia Namibia our country Beloved land of savannahs Hold high the banner of liberty Namibia our country Namibia motherland We love thee.

Namibia, Land Of The Brave has been the national anthem since 1991.

Namibia Land of the Brave represents the history of Namibia and its people. It reminds them never to forget the past, but to strive for national unity. It describes their will to survive amid hardships and most importantly, their love for their country and their nation.

The sun symbolizes life and energy. The colour gold represents warmth and the colour of the plains and the Namib Desert. Red represents the Namibian people, their heroism and their determination to build a future of equal opportunity for all. Blue symbolizes the Namibian sky, the Atlantic Ocean, our marine resources and the importance of rain and water. Green symbolizes Namibia's vegetation and agricultural resources. White refers to peace and unity.
