Ambasaguas Church Ambasaguas church is situated in the place where the two rivers, Luiña and Narcea, meet. The Entreambasaguas or Ambasaguas district still retains much of its medieval layout. The bridge is called Roman, but it’s actually medieval. There is an inscription which shows that it was rebuilt in The houses were built around the Church of The Virgen del Carmen. The houses and the cobbled streets have been preserved and restored in 1994.

The Medieval Bridge is known locally as the Roman bridge. There is an inscription, which was transcribed by Joaquín Manzanares in the 1950s, which reveals the year This date may correspond to a remodelling of an earlier base of the 12 th or 14 th century.

‘Prao Del Molín’ The ‘Prao Del Molín’ is a very popular meadow in Cangas del Narcea. You can sunbathe in summer or you can see the fire works in the different festivals, for example in the Carmen festivals.

In the ‘Prao Del Molín’ there is a statue called ‘El Artesano’. It represents the top of a person who is ready to let go of a firework.
