 The Coke Cola was established in 1886 by John S. Pemberton in Columbia, Georgia. In 1889 Coca Cola formula and brand was established by Asa Candler who also incorporated The Coca-Cola Company in However the bottling business began in The Coca-Cola Company is a multinational beverage corporation and manufacturer, retailer and marketer of non- alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups which are then sold to various countries throughout the world.

 The Coke Cola company started operating in Pakistan in 1953 which is owned by (CCBP) Coca Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited. Its Plants are in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Rahimyar Khan, Multan and Lahore. The remaining two plants, independently owned, are in Rawalpindi and Peshawar. The Coca-Cola System in Pakistan serves 70,000customers/retail outlets. The Coca-Cola System in Pakistan employs 1,800 people. 

Human Resource Management of Coke HRM is a very important department of Coke as it manages and controls management of the Organization. Its main function is to conduct Job analysis, Job design, Planning, Recruitment of employees, Selection,, Training of employees, Monitoring performance of employees and Giving Benefits & Rewards. Research and development deprtment of Coke R and S department is also a very important department of Coke as it conducts research and then develops the products and generates new ideas for the production of Cokes products. R and S department function is to do research and develop better products y for its customers. Account Department of coke Accounts Department main function is to maintain and record financial data of Coke by preparing financial statements and budgets for the company. Financial information shall be accurate and sufficient for the purposes of its users. There function is also to monitor the company financial activity and other financial operations. Accounts department is strictly prohibited to distort any financial or accounting records and/or information, or to falsify transactions, whether to simulate achievement with goals or objectives, or to receive any personal benefit

Engineering Departments of coke Engineering department main functions are designing, construction, installation, operation and support of the systems There job is also to monitor that all the equipment and all system are working accurately and in order. Production Department of coke Production department main function is to produce quality products of coke. There job is also to maintain machinery in proper order to increase productivity of the company. There is also to pack the products of the company. Quality Control Department Quality control department job is to maintain and monitor the quality of the products for the customers. This department uses different Production methods and techniques in order to meet quality standards according to the customers demand. They do different quality checks before finalizing the products

Marketing Department of coke Marketing department main function is to advertise, promote and do marketing of coke products in the market in order to boost up sales ad attract new customers. There other function is to create an image in the minds of customer by marketing their products through emotional TV commercials. Sale Department Sale department job is to sale coke s products in the market. They sell products directly to retailers and wholesalers in the market.

 Coca Cola goes green   As one of the largest companies in the world Coca Cola feels it has a social and environmental responsibility to lead the way to a greener and more sustainable world.  Coca Cola is the first company to commercialize bottles made from recycled plastic.  In North America Coke has 30 recycling centers which have reached 200 million pounds of recyclables and aspires to reach over 500 million pounds by the end of the year.  Coca Cola views used packaging materials as valuable resources for future use. As part of the company's efforts to make a change it encourages their customers to recycle.  Coca Cola is now working on manufacturing a new eco- friendly bottle that is 100% recyclable.

 Coca-Cola has made local education and community improvement programs a top priority for its philanthropic initiatives. Coca-Cola foundations "support the promise of a better life for people and their communities." For example, Coca-Cola is involved in a program called "Education on Wheel.  Coca-Cola also offers grants to various colleges and universities in more than half of the United States, as well as numerous international grants.  Cola HBC Polska has become a member of the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility, and will receive our Gold Seal of Approval as a Socially Responsible Company.

 Code of Conducts  The core of the ethics and compliance program at The Coca-Cola Company is the Code of Business Conduct.  Directors, officers and employees shall abstain from making any derogative comments – whether in family or social surroundings – about any activities carried out within the company, or about any other director, officer or employee.  No director, officer or employee shall use the Coca Cola FEMSA trade name, or that of any of its companies, nor any of its resources whatsoever, in any activity for their own personal benefit.  Any contact with dishonest people who can or will damage the Coca Cola Company should be avoided.  No one shall be discriminated against on account of gender, marital status, age, religion, race, physical ability, political beliefs or social class.  The Code guides business conduct, telling them to do things honesty and integrity in all matters.

 All of our associates and directors are required to read and understand the Code and follow its precepts in the workplace and larger community.  This cross-functional senior management team oversees all our ethics and compliance programs and determines Code violations and discipline.  Coke s Ethics responsibility for education, consultation, monitoring and assessment related to the Code of Business Conduct and compliance issues.  The company is regularly monitored and audits our business to ensure compliance with the Code and the law.  They also maintain a consistent set class standards around the world that how we investigate and handle Code issues.  Coke trained associates on the Code of Business Conduct, European Union competition law, Latin American competition law, financial integrity, intellectual property and competitive intelligence, drug-free workplace and preventing workplace violence.  Coke s associates, bottling partners, suppliers, customers and consumers can ask questions about our Code and other ethics and compliance issues, or report potential violations, through Ethics Line, a global Web and telephone information and reporting service.

  Coke’s marketing should be Legal, decent, honest, accurate and consistent with principles of fair competition and good business practice.  Coke’s adds and TV commercials should be prepared with a sense of social responsibility and based upon principles of good faith.  Verifiable and free from any elements that could lead to misinterpretation of the characteristics of the products and services offered by Coca Cola.  Respectful of moral values, avoiding unethical elements that offend human dignity and integrity, or use of symbols that are culturally offensive to any gender, race, religion, political belief or social class.  Marketing mangers shall ensure that advertising consultants and other similar agencies receive a copy of this Code, and are aware of the necessity of compliance with it in the execution of any work performed in the name of the Company.  Coca Cola has the experiential marketing code of conduct which has been brought in to strengthen the protections for consumers and marketers in the

 Code of conduct for Coke s employees is that they should follow ethical principles of sense of repect, honesty, integrity & other important values in their jobs & tasks.  The directors, officers and employees of Coca Cola shall conduct themselves in a manner that is loyal, respectful, diligent and honest  It includes the penalties for breach of Business Code of Ethics by any employee in the company.  These codes of conducts are a key part of corporate culture and constitute a fundamental component in the company.  Code of conducts inform s the directors, officers and employees of the organization, in their character as company representatives, of their ethical obligations to the company, investors, clients, creditors, vendors, competitors and government officials.  They should share this ethical values with parties interested in getting to know Coca Cola company.  Officers and employees of the Group shall refrain from having family or relatives working for them, except for cases approved in writing by the Human Resources Committee of the Board of Directors.

 This Business Code of Ethics is observed by members of the Board of Directors (directors), officers and managers (officers) and employees of Coca Cola Company.  The directors, officers and employees of Coca Cola are obligated to comply with all laws, regulations and guidelines that govern or limit the scope of their responsibility, as well as with the internal standards and control procedures established by management..  Whosoever has personnel under his or her direct supervision has the moral obligation to respect and protect them..  Any type of sexual harassment shall be prohibited and denounced, due to the moral damage inflicted upon those subjected to it.  Any contact with dishonest people who can or will damage the Coca Cola FEMSA companies should be avoided.  Directors, officers and employees shall abstain from disclosing any confidential information regarding processes, methods, strategies, plans, projects or technical data, market data or other data of any nature whatsoever.

 Officers and employees shall avoid engaging in any activity outside the company that demands from them so much time and effort that it affects their ability and availability to perform their duties to the company.  It is strictly prohibited to terminate, demote, suspend, threaten, harass, interfere with the right of employment, or otherwise discriminate against any director, officer or employee for providing information, assisting in the supply of information, or collaborating with any investigation which presumes a breach of any provision set forth in the Coca Cola Corporate Policies or in this Code.

 The coca cola company is a strong ethical and social responsible. Coke is using its business code of conducts very well. This because it has made separate code of conducts for employees and for marketing. This shows that Coke is following business ethics and as well ethically responsible company.  In the world Coke is known for its best corporate culture and business ethics.  Coca-Cola is working to manage its impact in the marketplace, on the environment, in the communities in which it operates and within the workplace.  It covers many of the key challenges faced by Coca-Cola in, including health and nutrition, and marketing to children. It also addresses a number of global areas of interest to stakeholders in the world.  Coca-Cola is continuing to expand consumer choice, with 20 brands and over 100 products now on offer in Pakistan  Coke is doing its social duties very well it that significantly reduced water usage, energy usage and landfill waste in recent time.  Coke s main focus in the society is on supporting youth sport, physical activity and youth education.

 Coca cola company should stop Racial, Sexual.regional and color discrimination.  They should start their own Ngo s or merger with an Ngo to work on for betterment for the society.  They should start education and environment friendly projects which help in creating good image in front of their customers and the society.  If Coke becomes more ethically and social responsible by taking part in such social activities or doing projects for betterment of the society then this will create their reputation of ethically responsible and social activate  Coke should also include their code of conducts for business in their mission statements and in their missions. Hence this will help coke to be more ethical responsible.  Coca Cola FEMSA believes that health and safety are as important as any other company activity or objective. 
