Professionalism Members of the assembly must: - Maintain a high level of Professionalism - Respect Others - Respect Self - Respect Organization

The Order of Events Typical Business Session - Call to Order - Roll Call - Must have 2/3 of squadron members present to have quorum, for voting purposes - Briefings/Guest Speakers/Awards, etc. - Resolutions/Business - Adjourn Speed is Important: Little time given, many things to get through

What to Say Questions during General Business - Question about Parliamentary Procedure “Parliamentary Inquiry, please.” - Question about topic at hand “Point of Information” Questions of Order - Questioning the Process “Point of Order” All of these questions take precedence over anything else taking place, but must be recognized by the chair.
