Climate Temperature varies from degrees Fahrenheit and is rarely below 12 or higher than 94 Precipitation year round Biome Temperate deciduous forest Goes through 4 seasons, similar to our seasons Topography Full of streams and water

 Warehouses will be built to help reduce the space needed to grow food.  Each block will contain a mini-community garden for those who wish to grow their own food.  All household will produce a compost to either use in the garden to be collected for the warehouses.  Philadelphia has a river so the city will use that to supply its people with water.  All plastic water bottles are banned!  Rain water will be collected and used for watering gardens and lawns during any dry spells.

 All major buildings will have solar panels.  We will build a dam in the Shuylkill river and use its hydroelectric power. › Low cost and produces less carbon dioxide  Recycling will be collected on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  We will provide BigBelly solar-powered trash compactor › Solar panel on top that charges battery. › Once it reaches a certain level it will compact the waste so it does not need to be emptied as often.  Underground sanitation that will be cleaned daily to reduce clogage

Eco-friendly Transpotation Straddling bus 1. less traffic congestion 2. powered by electricity and the sun so it produces less pollution 3. cheaper to build than subways 4. minimizes air pollution because it is electric powered Only two cars per family and they must be green cars!! Bikes are available during warm months Cooking oil will be used as fuel because it is cheaper and more eco-friendly

People have to live within one mile of their work and if not then they must use the buses provided For every tree you cut down you must plant two more Clean the Schuylkill River Replenish Wissahickon Valley River

 Native to Pennsylvania  Well adapted because they tend to hibernate when it’s cold.  They dig burrows underneath the ground for themselves and other animals.  Their hibernation indicates when the seasons are changing.

 In the spring, bees will start to pollinate the trees, making them ready to be picked in the autumn. They become dormant in the winter, because there is no longer hot, sunny days for the trees to go through photosynthesis. › Provide food for native animals and humans in the area › Shelter for certain animals › Can provide shade on hot days › Provides oxygen to the city
