Therefore, it allows their people to have jobs in mining, jobs in the wine business, and jobs in tourist attractions. Current Events Recently in Amiens, France workers at a Goodyear tire factor found a letter that had been leaked from from Maurice Taylor, CEO of the Illinois- based Titan Tire company. The letter stated Taylor thought that French workers in that factory were lazy. Taylor said that the workers were being paid for 7 hours of work, but the workers were only working for 3. Extending their own coffee and lunch breaks. The U.S. didn’t just affect this event they caused the entire story.
