{ Discipleship Ministry Partner Development Strategy

MESSAGE GOAL: The goal of this session is to help you develop a specific strategy for a DMPD Time. MAIN POINTS OF THIS SESSION: 1.Know what things you need to consider when working on your DMPD strategy. 2.Learn how to make your DMPD strategy. Discipleship Ministry Partner Development Strategy

1.Make a list of some of the larger evangelical churches in the city where you are doing DMPD. (Include churches where you already have Ministry Partners.) Then ask yourself where are the people I want to ask to become Ministry Partners? 2.Another part of my strategy is to blend support raising appointments with support maintaining appointments. 3.Another part of my strategy is to stay in one city to do my DMPD as opposed to going from place to place where I have Ministry Partners. 1.The following things should be considered when working on your strategy

A. List of my Desires (things outside of my control). A. List of my Desires (things outside of my control). 1.The amount of time I have is Jan. 3 – 30 (28 days or 4 weeks); So I desire to have 12 appointments/week = 6 new Ministry Partners/week. These 6 new Ministry Partners = 6 X N5,000/month average of new Ministry Partners = N30,000/month each week of MPD. So, in 4 weeks I desire to have 4 weeks X N30,000/month =N120,000/month raised 2.Get contacts in many churches. Seek to have 60 Contacts as soon as possible. 3.Get at least a 1.1 contact ratio so you’ll never run out of contacts. 2.How to Make your Strategy for DMPD

A. List of my Desires (things outside of my control). 1.Stay in Bratislava, so I don’t lose time rebuilding momentum and so I can get an average of N120,000/month. 2.Plan 10 hours/week into my schedule for calling for appointments and faithfully follow my schedule. 3.Listen to the Attitude Messages (or read the transcript of it) daily. 4.Always ask for at least one or two contacts in another church (Networking). 5.Make a list of key churches and places where Christians gather and start praying for contacts in them so that God will bless me with many contacts. 6.Ask for lots of contacts and ask them to please look at a List so that they will know I really need for them to help me get a lot. Use the “Other Who Care” sheet. 7.Practice asking for contact correctly over and over so that I will be skilled to do it correctly.
