Disaster! Draw a map of a small imaginary town. Label the roads, major tourist spots, buildings, parks, schools, houses, shops, etc. Use this map to write a story about this town being threatened by a disaster (e.g. flood, bushfire, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc). Where will the people go? What happens to the town? How do they help save their buildings and homes?
