IB DP Exams Full Diploma students take their exams in May of their senior year. (They may take up to two Standard Level exams during the junior year.) All externally scored papers are evaluated by trained examiners throughout the world. The Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge paper, and World Lit papers are mailed to examiners at due dates early in IB Diploma Program. Students earn scores ranging from 1-7. Diplomas are awarded for scores of 24 or higher.
