WEBSITE PITCH GILES SCHOFIELD 11DJK

PURPOSE The purpose of my website will be to persuade the main school students to come to the film festival, give information about the festival and the films in it. This website’s potential audience will the students of the school and any visitors to the festival. There will also be trailers on the site to give people a taster of what is going on at the festival.

AUDIENCES AND FILM CHOICES This website’s potential audience will the students of the school and any visitors to the festival. Film in the festival Up- because it has an amazing story line and good animation Avatar – because it is the highest grossing film Avengers Assemble- One of the best films I’ve seen. Despicable Me- heart-warming and good animation Star Trek- Into Darkness- a film with amazing CGI and still good to watch I chose these films as they are all popular well know films that are must watches for anyone.

COLOUR SCHEME AND FONTS I have chosen these colours because I believe that they work well together and will look effective on my website. Berlin sans FB Demi Showcard Gothic Bauhaus 93 have come up with these font ideas as they could create a fun and happy look which is what I want my festival site to have.

LEGAL AND ETHICAL Copyright laws surrounding films are there to stop piracy and in the wider scheme if copyright laws exist to prevent people from using images without permission, if this happens the worst case scenario is prison. I will comply with copyright laws by ing the film producers to ask their permission to show the films in the festival. Alt Tags- To make my website more accessible I will make sure that the alt tags are put on all my pictures clear of what they are. This is an example of an alt tag as you can see it show the viewer what the picture is I have also checked how well the contrast of my colours schemes will work so it will be able to be seen by visitors to the website. My original colours didn’t get very good marks so I changed it to this:

WEBSITE FEED BACK From the graphs it is clear that, I will use my logo and colour scheme as they seem popular. Also I will use font one as it was slightly more popular and its my favourite as well
