Global Week of Action The 10 th -16 th April heralded a Global Week of Action for Trade Justice involving millions of people around the world. The week culminated in an all-night vigil on the Prime Minister's doorstep with a dawn procession past Downing Street. The beginning of this week (10th April) a special service was held at St Peter's Leckhampton to show our commitment to the campaign and to encourage members of the congregation to "Take Action”, including all of the following:  Send a postcard to Gordon Brown  Buy Fairtrade products - a directory of where these can be purchased in Cheltenham was distributed to members of the congregation!  Wear a white “Make Poverty History” wristband See below for pictures of our preparation for the service.
