Latitude: 40 degrees north Longitude: 74 degrees west The Northeast is east of Mid-West, north of the south region and south of Quebec. People might want to live in the northeast because of the Appellation mountains, Atlantic Ocean, Climate or the fresh water Lake Ontario.
Place: Popular resource are coal, iron, gravel, Atlantic ocean, Lake Ontario (Fresh Water). Religions consist of, Christianity, (Catholic) and other branches of Christianity, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian. Climate patterns are averaging in 20s or below and in the summer up to the 70s or higher. Most of all tourism happens in the summer when it's in the 70's near New York City.
Human Environmental Interaction Most popular economy issue is the rate of unemployment. The unemployment rate in the northeast has dropped over the past 10 years. Businesses are bankrupt and people are losing jobs fast. Climate: People in this region adapted to the climate with coats and sweatshirts, as well as shorts and T shirts in the summer. Pollution has effected this region in a way of car pollution. Because there is so many people in a small place such as New York City all the cars, buses and other vehicles. Movement: If a major rout for transportation were interrupted the economy would have a big impact because we would not be able to export any items to sell and we would lose money. People live in this region because they were raised there and have adapted to the climate. Large ships move around goods exporting and importing things. /large-ships
