Current Melaleuca customers Category 1’s Category 2’s who are not currently building Warm Market Reciprocating Relationships Dentists, Hair Stylists, Manicurists, Personal Trainers Professional Contacts Realtors, Insurance Agents, People in Direct Sales Organized Events BNI’s, Trade Shows, Job Fairs, Chamber Events

Current Customers: Use this as an opportunity to build relationships. Ask about family & work. What is there favorite Melaleuca product. Get personal with people. Transition with telling them about new products or promotion of the month Let them know how they will benefit.

Warm Market: Posture is important Communicate “what’s in it for them” Be consistent with your approach Be professional and follow thru. Timing is everything!

Reciprocating Relationships: Ask if they are receiving new business and referrals If they are not a Melaleuca customer, show the Delivering Wellness Presentation Be professional. Timing is everything.

Professional Contacts: Show respect for their career Position Melaleuca as an ‘additional’ stream of income Assume they are open minded to a Plan B Suggest they might know of someone in their field that is looking for extra income.

Organized Events: Know your 30 second commercial Be prepared to give out Business Cards Ask for their Business Cards Go as an attendee, not as a vendor Ask lots of questions and LISTEN!

Summary Embrace Networking as an effective way to build your Melaleuca business You can not teach what you do not do Spend 2 solid weeks on developing your networking skills and you will become confident in your ability to network effectively. You business will benefit for years to come!
