IT2000 units or who has some experience of using a computer but would like to bring themselves up to date with recent developments. One OCN credit at Level 2 is available for each unit. This, together with tutors' observations of individuals' progress and activity during the course, will form the basis for the assessment as to whether all the criteria have been met for a certificate to be issued Office IT2000

Courses Achieving excellence in information processing Advanced IT2000 is the natural progression from Office IT2000 and takes selected skills to a more advanced stage. Our intention is to ensure that there is an awareness of how most administrative, figure-related and design tasks likely to be encountered in a business environment can be completed to a high standard of presentation. One OCN credit at Level 3 is available for each unit. Individuals will be asked to keep examples of their completed tasks and notes from sessions in a portfolio which will be reviewed during and at the end of the course. This, together with tutors' observations of individuals' progress and activity during the course, will form the basis for the assessment as to whether all the criteria have been met for a certificate to be issued Advanced IT2000
