One Year Later… Applied for CSC Web Hosting account. Purchased MADS official domain from an American Company: {association funds} Worked on the Website Content and its Design. All MADS activity photos are uploaded onto the website – thus a Gallery was created which is frequently Updated.

One Year Later… Set up the official accounts for the executive members. Creation of a Yahoo Group for the use of the MADS Executive Committee. Maintain the addresses of all MADS members  act as a link between committee and members. Creation of Members Area: passwords + usernames + reminders!

One Year Later… Involved in the Promotion of the MADS website via addition of our URL to search engines, and other sites. (gov, uni, dental related etc) Editor of MADS Welcome Booklet of Prepared the MADS Activities Presentation for 1 st TRD meeting. Modified MADS logo to be made printable for Polo Shirts.

One Year Later… Maintain the Computer and peripheral devices in MADS office. Am working on obtaining Sponsorship for the Website. (Currently finalizing sponsorship with a leading dental company) Designed + printed the Executive Committee Certificates which the EC members will be shortly receiving!!

Website Statistics Measuring since 7 January 2006 Approximately 600 international hits since January. approx.120 from the United Kingdom approx.100 from the United States Hundreds of Local Hits. Many Visitors from Foreign Universities.

In Conclusion…  Worked as part of a team.  Attended the committee meetings and gave my input.  Disagreement is not necessary a bad thing – the key is to compromise and listen to the other members opinions.  MADS ultimately depends on the work done by its committee and the support given by its members.
