Overall objective: To improve the local and regional capacity to apply the process of implementing industrial waste management that support the implementation of the EU Waste Management Directive, helping SMEs in the Afyonkarahisar Region to address their problems with waste management and disposal. Specific objective: Securing ecologically sustainable development while promoting justifiable economic and social development in Afyonkarahisar region. To provide a platform across the Afyonkarahisar Region that enables cooperation in waste management through close collaboration of expert organizations, suppliers of waste technology and stakeholders. To develop at least two concrete investment projects for SMEs located in Afyonkarahisar Region. To give project partners opportunities to put into perspective their waste management needs, via the identification and exchange of good practice, to consider waste as an asset for innovations, business opportunities and employment.
