Did You Know? The nation’s health goals are to reduce injury, death, and disease caused by alcohol. The goals aim at reducing the average alcohol consumption, binge drinking, and total number of alcohol- related accidents and deaths.

Long-Term Effects of Alcohol on the Body A.Alcohol consumption leads to addiction, loss of brain function, and brain damage. B.The heart is damaged or enlarged, and blood pressure levels are raised. C.The liver builds up excess fat, becomes infected, and develops cirrhosis. D.Alcohol can cause stomach ulcers and cancer. E.Alcohol begins to destroy the pancreas and its lining.
