Curriculum

Creative Curriculum  Using exploration and discovery as a way of learning, The Creative Curriculum for Preschool enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.  Creative Curriculum approaches learning through “investigations” that effectively incorporate countless opportunities for children explore ideas and concepts in literacy, math, the arts, social studies, and science.

Teaching Strategies GOLD  Teaching Strategies GOLD is a developmentally appropriate, ongoing, observation-based assessment that occurs when teachers are observing children during regular, everyday activities on a continuous basis throughout the year.  It is grounded in 38 objectives that guide teachers throughout the assessment cycle. Goals  To help children achieve self confidence.  To help children become responsible individuals.  To develop age appropriate readiness.  To develop social awareness.

General Safety  Emergency Contact List and Phone Tree  Please note this phone tree can be activated even in the event that our server at school is down  Bus Changes  Please remember to notify Angela with transportation and myself if your child will be absent or if there is any change with bus pick up or drop off  Miss Megan’s Attention  Please remember that from 8:00 – 3:15 our focus and attention must be on the children especially during times of transition.  If you would like to set up and appointment to met with myself and my M.A’s you are always welcomed too.
