Lecture Notes (pptx Vs ppt) All lecture notes (in Blackboard) will be in the new PowerPoint pptx format (for example: Lecture pptx). This is the default format from Microsoft since 2007, so can be opened by any reasonably updated Microsoft Office. In case you have an older version of Microsoft Office or you do not want to buy Microsoft Office, here are some free options: PowerPoint Viewer (from Microsoft, PC only) Open Office (PC and Mac) Just google “powerpoint viewer” and “open office”. Disclaimer: Some equations may not display correctly, so always bring printed notes to class to correct the equations.

WebAssign Homework are online: Use the access code that comes with the textbook, or subscribe online. The first 14 days are free (so you should get an account now even if you do not want to pay yet).
