Weldment Wideband Lower Weldments (2) Kneeling Cylinders (4) Drive Wheel Assemblies (4) Rear Pivot Pin and Brackets Counterweight weldments (3) Front Ties (2) 23 August 2011 Dave Pushka 2

Shipping Schedule Arrival week of : –Upper weldment - qty = 2. Unit weight about 34,000 pounds, 12' wide. –Lower weldment assemblies - qty = 2. Unit weight about 30,000 pounds, < 8' wide. –Front cross ties (qty = 2. Unit weight about <1,000 pounds, < 2' wide) –Counter weight containers - qty = 3. Unit weight about 12,000 pounds, < 3'wide each unit. Arrival week of : –Pivot cylinders, pivot cylinder hydraulic power unit, drive hydraulic power unit, kneeling cylinder hydraulic power unit, misc small weldments, pipe assemblies, and Cable reel. (< 40,000 pounds in total) Ship in an enclosed (or at leased tarped) semi trailer. Arrival in Late September: –Blue blocks - qty = 12. Unit weight about 20,000 pounds each. Slightly radioactive. 26" by 52" by 52". –Drums of hydraulic oil (700 gallons total). May be a partial shipment for drive only first, with large quantity for pivot cylinders in October. 23 August 2011 Dave Pushka 3

Assembly Steps Assemble Structural Components for the Lower Pivoter Portion (which have been pre-assembled). –Assembly performed by HTS Fabrication, Day-to-Day oversight performed by Steve Conley (Burns & McDonnell) in collaboration with Pushka and Villegas (FNAL). Use FNAL Alignment to verify pivots are co-axial. Install Drive Hydraulics and other Hydraulic Power Supplies. Install Cable reel and Use electricians provided by HTS Fabrication to install 480 AC power on pivoter per NEC and FNAL produced single lines. Use hydraulic specialists provided by HTS Fabrication to install hydraulic piping for drives and pivot cylinder, fill with oil, and perform initial testing of the drive hydraulic system. Electricians provided by HTS Fabrication will verify proper rotation once hydraulic systems are filled with oil. Drive Pivoter down the hall, test drives, test cable reel, test rail alignment, test steering system. Begin Assembly of the Table. 23 August 2011 Dave Pushka 4

Concerns for First half of Assembly Contractor will assemble and fill the hydraulics –Potential of contamination exists –Requires oversight from a trained, competent person to verify proper procedures are followed –Testing will be performed by FNAL staff and may include assistance from the pivoter assembly contractor. May include bringing hydraulic manufacture representatives to the facility in Ash River. First operations will identify problems –Resolving problems identified in Ash River will take more time to resolve compared to the resolving them at FNAL because of the lack of machines, tools, supplies and trained people in Ash River. –But, shipping will commence on this schedule so that progress in Ash River is apparent. 23 August 2011 Dave Pushka 5

Second half of Assembly Pivoter Assembly Contractor (HTS Fabrication) will assemble the Table Components –Means and methods are the responsibility of the contractor. –FNAL Alignment will verify table flatness. –Pins added when flatness tolerance met to ‘lock in’ flatness. –Oversight provided by Steve Conley, PE from Burns & McDonnell in collaboration with Villegas and Pushka. –Testing will be performed by FNAL staff and may include assistance from the pivoter assembly contractor. May include bringing pivot cylinder hydraulic manufacture representatives and kneeling cylinder representatives to the facility in Ash River. 23 August 2011 Dave Pushka 6
