C OURSE OBJECTIVES This course is designed to provide students with fundamental quantitative concepts and skills essential in today’s business world. Various mathematical areas, including decimals and fractions, are introduced in light of business problem solving. In addition, other topics covered are annuities, present value, interest, insurance, taxation and investments. Equations and graphing will also be illustrated. 3
