Fundamentals of the Bioscience Industry Certificate Program Cutting edge and innovative, this industry-focused and industry-driven program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to the critical factors of strategic importance that drive the bioscience industry.
Program Goal Provide current life sciences graduate students, post- docs, and incumbent employees with a comprehensive introduction to the complexities of the bioscience business environment.
Course format Consists of 3 modules: –1 st module: details the product development process from a technical, scientific, and strategic perspective and provides an understanding of the regulatory process required to bring a scientific product to market. –2 nd module: learn about the basic concepts of business management pertaining to the Bioscience Industry. –3 rd module: provides an understanding of corporate culture and effective career development strategies.
A critical component of the Fundamentals of the Bioscience Industry program is the extensive professional career development mentoring extended to all participants in the program. The course will be augmented with extensive mentoring by the industry executives who teach and participate as guest lecturers in the course.
