Materials you need 1.An electric or acoustic guitar 2. strings 3. an amp if its an electric 4. pick

Parts of the guitar part 1 1. The headstock is at the top of the guitar. You will see six pegs where the strings are connected to. 2. The Neck is the part where the frets are. 3. The body is the main part of the guitar.

Parts of the guitar part 2 On an acoustic, the sound resonates in the sound cavity. On an electric, two rectangle-shaped devices called “pickups” pick up the sound of the strings.

holding the guitar 1. Your left hand is the one that will fret notes. Your right hand is the hand that will play them. 2. the back of the guitar should be resting against your stomach. 3. Don’t hunch your back.

HOW TO HOLD THE GUITAR

FRETTING A NOTE 1.Press the desired string at the “fret”, A space between two wires on the Fingerboard. 2. As you may notice, playing a note Further down the fingerboard raises the pitch of the note. 3. While the fret is pressed down, pick It with your right hand, with or Without a pick.

Playing a C Chord Use your index finger to press down the 1 st fret on the 2 nd string. Use your middle finger to press down the 2 nd fret on the 4 th string. Use your ring finger to press down the 3 rd fret on the fifth string.

Thanks for watching this! I hope you learned a thing or two about the guitar.
