Statistics Total 1186 persons detained in 2010: 755 at “green border” ; 431 at BCP (248 hidden persons and 183 false documents) Total 316 persons detained in the first five months of 2011: 245 at “green border” ; 71 at BCP The top 3 nationalities of the detained persons trying to cross illegally the Bulgarian-Turkish border are Iraq, Palestine and Turkey.
