Introduction S.T.U.T Southern Taiwan University  Generator planning is a traditional issue in the study of electric power system. Specially, the plan make for the ship.  My paper present “Load table method”, that is the most commonly used method in the actual design.  In the theory part of load table method, a series of equations have been established. It developed by the scientific arguments through analysis of how do electric loads work also operation of the ship. So, its can be applied to calculate for many different kind of the ship.  In addition, the generator planning for one tanker ship is a test calculation by applying this method.

S.T.U.T Southern Taiwan University Ship power system and load table method  The ship power system is a case of power supply systems with special structures, special features, special design requirements and operations.  Topology : radial or ring  Shaft generator and two or more the same generators DC 24V AC 220V,110V AC 440V  Three sources system (AC,DC,E’CY)  “Main switch board”, “Emergency Switch board” and “battery charge and distribution board” Basis structure of the ship power system.

Working environment of loads is on a transport which its activities are constantly changing.  So, what is the solution for such systems?  Load table method! The method will conduct a comprehensive survey which give the coefficients and the method of calculating power requirements to be more efficiency How to do it?  Electric loads on ship  What is the main object of generator planning for ship?
